Chiropractic Care:
Chiropractic adjustments are safe, non-invasive, and effective in restoring motion to fixated joints. Joints throughout the entire body depend on proper biomechanics to prevent injury and function correctly. Chiropractors address these fixations with specific adjustments to create motion and return health to the joints. Depending on your specific needs Dr. Goldi may use her hands or an Activator adjusting instrument to deliver a gentle, specific impulse to the spine. These impulses remove joint fixations. In most cases chiropractic adjustments, especially when combined with soft tissue mobilization, successfully resolve pain, increase range of motion, and re-establish proper biomechanics. In turn patients are able to perform the activities that enable them to live a happy and healthy life.
Active Release Technique
Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. This hands-on, non-invasive method is designed to break up adhesions and scar tissue that typically result from repetitive stress, overuse, and trauma. Some conditions that ART has been extremely successful in resolving include: carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, shin splints, plantar fascitis, and iliotibial (IT) band syndrome. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
Graston Technique
Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The Technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
Massage Therapy
Massage is a time honored therapy that addresses the soft tissue. The benefits are to reduce muscular tension, increase range of motion and flexibility, stress reduction, improved circulation and create a state of relaxation.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation/Ultrasound Combo Therapy
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is the concept whereby electric impulses are used to contract muscles. Ultrasound therapy uses high-energy sound waves (those above the range we hear) to help ease painful joints and muscles. Combo therapy is done by the chiropractor or the assistant who guides the waves into the body from the head of a ultrasound machine.
Heat Therapy
Heat Therapy relaxes muscles, relieves pain and accelerates healing by increasing blood flow to a targeted area.
